Crossing almost as many borders as they do genres, Berlin based, psychedelic dream-poppers Eagle Boston are prepping the release of their third album, Cosmic Parade, recorded over three days at an old farmhouse in the Oderbruch, Co-produced and mixed by kptmichigan (Tuesday Weld, Schneider TM) – it finds them refining their hypnotic, pulsing sound even further, with Yelka Wehmeier’s ethereal vocals and driving bass lines twisting through Jonas Verwijnen’s space age synth lines and Christian Obermaier’s imaginative, economically motorik rhythms. Sparse but nonetheless dramatic, the record’s nine tracks emerged from extended jams that were then shaped and distilled for maximum impact.
